Interior Designer

A multi-disciplinary design firm in Chicago is looking to add an Interior Designer to their team!

Job Description:

• Execute project deliverables within the allotted time frame as per project schedule
• Create design iterations and options for review
• Communicate ideas effectively using hand sketches
• Study and interpret plans, elevations, and details in CAD
• Convert conceptual designs into 3D models using SketchUp and Enscape
• Utilize Bluebeam for internal and external communication
• Redline renderings, models, and prototypes to align with design concepts
• Manage tasks independently under the direction of the Senior Designer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor and/or Master in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
• 2+ years of experience in an interiors firm
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience with schematic design and design development
• Experience in FF&E selections
• Completed 2+ custom restaurant projects

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.86/hr.
