Landscape Designer

As a member of the Land Design/Landscape Architecture department, the successful candidate will work collaboratively in an interactive studio environment throughout all phases of multiple projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and client-focused practice. Responsibilities will include planning, design, preparation of construction plans, planting plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, and permit applications.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate in an interactive studio environment throughout all project phases.
2. Plan and design landscape projects with precision and creativity.
3. Prepare construction and planting plans and specifications.
4. Conduct studies and generate reports relevant to landscape design.
5. Estimate project costs accurately.
6. Prepare and submit permit applications.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.
• Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• 2+ years of landscape design experience.
• Experience in planning, design, and construction plans.
• Strong project planning skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university or college.
• Licensure preferred or actively working towards licensure/PLA.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working under a Professional Landscape Architect.
• Eagerness to learn and grow with a desire for career development.

Work Environment

This is an in-office position located in Savannah, GA, with work hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
