We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team, focusing on plant layout and equipment layout. You will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, including life safety, HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, gas, and fire sprinkler systems for capital expansion projects and renovations of existing facilities. Projects may include pet food plants, chemical plants, and food and beverage facilities. Your role will involve process piping design, equipment selection, material lists, contract documents, and drawing reviews for industrial projects using Plant3D and AutoCAD.

Work Environment
Our office is situated in the vibrant Regency District of Omaha, offering easy access to major highways and surrounded by shopping and dining options. You will work in a small, close-knit team of about 15, enjoying a casual dress code and a professional work environment. The position is primarily in-office, with some site visits required for 3D laser scanning. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
