Production Tooling And Equipment Specialist

Subject matter expert in the design, assembly and debugging of new production tooling and equipment. Optimize current production tooling and equipment. Develop and implement equipment and tooling design and organization standards. Estimate production costs, efficiencies, cost saving methods, and the effects of tooling/equipment design changes on cost and efficiency. Document current installed tooling and equipment base. Support and comply with Cretex Medical Quality System, ISO 13485 and when required medical device requirements. Monitor the utilization of employee safety and OE programs. Support and comply with the company's Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements. Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work. Partner with the other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance. Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve. Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly. Participate in the Operational Excellence Program. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

2 year Design related degree. Experience: 3 years. Working knowledge of mechanical parts as well as computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. CNC programming knowledge a plus. Able to work mechanically and troubleshoot equipment. Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher). Hands on experience with typical tool room / machine shop equipment. Able to work in dynamic environment and manage iterative design & fabrication processes. Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
