Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to create and maintain design and drafting standards, while developing new products and improving existing ones based on engineering specifications. You will utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to design plans, working closely with engineers to enhance manufacturing systems and processes.

Create and maintain design standards, drafting standards, and the person sheets.

Design new products and parts, and improve existing ones based on engineering specifications.

Develop plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault.

Work from rough sketches and specifications throughout the manufacturing and testing process.

Proactively respond to questions and change requests.

Interface with customers to design products according to their specifications.

Review, validate, and request necessary information to complete projects.

Collaborate with engineers to create and improve manufacturing systems and processes.

Develop drawings for a variety of machines and mechanical devices.

Apply general knowledge of material and hardware selection.

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Inventor.

Strong in mechanical design.

Ability to interpret data and specifications to meet design requirements.

Understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, statics, and dynamics.

Effective interaction with engineers, manufacturers, and stakeholders.

Associate Degree in Mechanical Design or related field.

Capability to develop creative and efficient mechanical solutions.

On-site 5 days/week

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $66560.00/yr.

Medical, Dental, Vision fully paid for by company, they only have to pay the co-pays. 6% 401k match, profit sharing, and lifelock offered to all employees.

This is a fully onsite position in Trafford,PA.
