Mechanical Designer
The Mechanical Designer will support engineers by creating and modifying drawing layouts using computer-aided drafting software. This role involves developing new components and Bill of Materials (BOM) in compliance with established standards.
Responsibilities
- Update current drawings based on engineering markups and re-master CAD drawings to current formats.
- Create 3D and 2D layouts using computer-aided drafting systems following design team instructions.
- Ensure accuracy and organization of work, adhering to dimension and tolerance conventions and established CAD specifications and standards.
- Utilize ERP systems to create part numbers, ensuring proper naming and data entry.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in mechanical design, GD&T, and Creo.
- Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Associate degree or equivalent with 2+ years of experience in drafting/design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to work.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $43.27/hr.
