Mechanical Designer

Join a dynamic and growing team as a Mechanical Designer specializing in material handling solutions. This position offers an opportunity to develop and refine skills in 3D CAD design and drafting, with a focus on creating functional and manufacturable designs for large distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Create and draft 3D CAD designs, bill of materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Translate customer data into accurate and timely designs.
• Manage data within the internal ERP system.
• Participate in meetings and collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects.
• Interpret blueprints, data, and sketches to deliver precise fabrication instructions.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Mechanical Design, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Fabrication Drawings, Sheet Metal, BOMs, and Assembly Drawings.
• 1+ years of experience utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical design of equipment or sheet metal products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in the material handling industry.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Experience using an ERP system.

Work Environment

This role is based in Cleves, OH, working 40 hours a week on-site. The company offers flexible start and end times, providing a supportive environment to grow in material handling mechanical design.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cleves, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $40.00/hr.
