Mechanical Design Drafter

Mechanical Design Drafter is to support the Mechanical Design Engineering Team in creating part/assembly models and drawings, updating existing designs, and assisting with engineering analysis and calculations.

• Create and maintain engineering CAD models and drawings.

• Create/Develop component assembly models and assembly plans.

• Support changes or troubleshooting with calculations and rationale.

• Assist in component and machine testing including creating plans (written, drawings, schematics), assembling hardware, and running tests.

• Assist manufacturing engineering to document processes, Design Tools and Fixtures as workload allows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must Have 5+ years of Mechanical Design and/or Drafting experience in manufacturing Environment. Must have experience with Solidworks (preferred if has PDM experience). Must Have experience with GD&t - tolerances, designs for mechanical systems, sheet metal, CNC machining, for parts with tight tolerances.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of Cerritos, CA.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
