New Pcb Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced PCB Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing high-frequency PCB layouts, ensuring optimal routing for RF and DC signals. You will collaborate closely with RF engineers to meet performance specifications and optimize component placement and routing for signal integrity and controlled impedance. Additionally, you will maintain libraries, documentation, BOMs, and version control, as well as create 2D/3D mechanical drawings for parts like housings and covers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design high-frequency PCB layouts with optimal routing for RF and DC signals.
  • Collaborate with RF engineers to meet performance specifications.
  • Optimize component placement and routing for signal integrity and controlled impedance.
  • Maintain libraries, documentation, BOMs, and version control.
  • Create 2D/3D mechanical drawings for parts such as housings and covers.

Essential Skills:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in PCB design, particularly in telecommunications, RF, and military sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium or PADS.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical RF design and 3D modeling using tools like AutoCAD and Fusion 360.
  • Mastery of PCB design rules, multilayer optimization, and file generation.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Skilled in documenting designs, revisions, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with document control procedures.
  • Experience in high power amplifier design.
  • Proficiency in radio frequency and RF engineering.
  • Strong experience in electrical engineering and electrical design.

Job Type & Location:

This is a permanent position based out of Fair Lawn, NJ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
