Piping Designer

Entry Level Piping Designer - 1+ Years Experience!

The piping designer will be responsible for creating detailed designs and layouts for piping systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD designs of basic equipment layouts and piping routings that adhere to codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate the work of other lead designers assigned to the task.
• Ensure discipline leads have the correct project standards and checklists.
• Maintain and update the overall 3D model as required.
• Prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
• Participate in meetings with clients as requested.

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of piping design using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Associate's Degree in Drafting or Design
• Experience with Plant 3D, Autocad, Piping design, Piping engineering, and Pipe support design

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Revit experience
• Experience preparing orthographic drawings
• Navisworks experience

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, typically on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The position requires limited travel, with no more than a week on the road, ensuring you are home by the weekend. The role offers a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm, allowing individuals to progress in their projects without the red tape found in larger corporations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $145600.00/yr. Medical, Dental, Vision, 4% 401k match
