Project Interior Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to lead workplace and interior architecture projects. This role is perfect for someone who excels in managing complex design efforts, coordinating with engineering consultants, and driving projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of workplace and interior projects.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams and engineering consultants.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Utilize Revit to support design development and documentation.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and help grow the firm's workplace portfolio.
  • Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events.

Essential Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in workplace design.
  • Proficient in Revit.
  • Experience in interior design, interior architecture, schematic design, and design development.
  • Project management experience on complex projects with engineering consultants.
  • Skilled in commercial building design, construction documentation, and space planning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of ADA codes.

Work Environment

The role requires working four days in the office. The office is part of an international firm with a presence across North America and other continents. The DC office houses approximately 110 employees, focusing on market sectors such as K-12, retirement homes, large-scale corporate commercial, multi-family, and institutional projects. The office promotes a family culture with a fun atmosphere, including company outings, philanthropic events, and team bonding activities. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
