Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of workplace and interior projects.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and engineering consultants.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Utilize Revit to support design development and documentation.
• Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
• Contribute to business development efforts and help grow the firm's workplace portfolio.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and industry events.

Essential Skills

• 7+ years of experience in workplace design.
• Proficient in Revit.
• Experience in interior design, interior architecture, schematic design, and design development.
• Project management experience on complex projects with engineering consultants.
• Skilled in commercial building design, construction documentation, and space planning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Knowledge of ADA codes.

Work Environment

The role requires working four days in the office. The office is part of an international firm with a presence across North America and other continents. The DC office houses approximately 110 employees, focusing on market sectors such as K-12, retirement homes, large-scale corporate commercial, multi-family, and institutional projects. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
