The Design Lead will be primarily responsible for providing data center design services. The candidate must possess a thorough understanding of Data Center technology infrastructure design practices and Hyper-Scaler Standards. This expertise will enable them to liaise effectively with clients, developers, installation contractors, and all related design team members. The role involves managing a design team of 3 to 5 technology engineers, managing client expectations, meeting deadlines, and developing and coordinating appropriate design solutions for successful project delivery.
The position offers the flexibility to work fully remote. The company is a leader in technology engineering within a rapidly growing market. The work involves assisting in all technology-oriented designs within complex buildings, including audio/visual systems, security systems, and IT infrastructure. The focus is on low/medium voltage design. Current and upcoming workloads consist of data-center projects involving two customers, one large site, and another with four different sites, all located in the US. The office is located in Woodridge, IL, and the team consists of approximately 40 employees.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, Illinois.
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.11/hr.
