Senior Civil Designer

The Civil Designer will be responsible for preparing site/civil drawings, including grading, utility layout, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control planning. The role involves working in CAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D to perform detailed drawings for various projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare site/civil drawings focusing on grading, utility layout, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control planning.
Utilize CAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D for detailed project drawings.
Engage in land development and site development tasks.
Perform civil engineering design tasks related to stormwater, water & wastewater, and roadway projects.
Conduct field visits to assess starting points and initiate designs.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Expertise in civil design and civil engineering design.
Experience with land development and site development.
Skill in stormwater design and environmental grading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to adopt a designer's mentality and visualize the project from inception to completion.

Work Environment

The work environment involves regular use of CAD and AutoDesk Civil 3D software. Field visits may occasionally be required to assess project sites and initiate design processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
