Senior Civil Designer

Senior Civil Designer – Bethlehem, PA

Actalent is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Designer to support a leading engineering firm in the Bethlehem area. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact land development and infrastructure projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers to deliver innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed civil design plans for site development, grading, stormwater management, utilities, and roadway improvements.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce construction documents, alignments, profiles, and surfaces.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Review and revise plans based on client feedback and permitting requirements.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to quality control processes.
• Assist in estimating quantities and preparing cost opinions.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in civil design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Solid understanding of land development and municipal infrastructure design standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
