Lead Interior Designer In Seattle, Wa

We are seeking a lead project interior designer with over 10 years of experience in large-scale commercial and workplace interiors in Seattle, WA. This role involves leading design projects from concept through construction, managing client relationships, and collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through construction.
• Manage and develop client relationships effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative design solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and ADA requirements.
• Guide space planning, finish selection, and design documentation.
• Coordinate client presentations and team leadership in fast-paced project environments.

Essential Skills

• 10+ years of experience in interior design, particularly in corporate commercial and workplace projects exceeding 200,000 sq ft.
• NCIDQ certification is required.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, and Deltek Vision.
• Strong abilities in space planning, finish selection, and design documentation.
• Experience in building codes, ADA compliance, and sustainable design.
• Capability to lead projects across all phases, including conceptual and technical design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• NCARB preferred for registered architects.
• Accreditation in sustainable design practices is preferred.
