We are seeking a talented structural designer who is eager to grow professionally within the diverse field of structural engineering. This role will provide invaluable experience across a range of projects varying from $10 million to $250 million, including challenging urban and green sites. You will have the opportunity to work on high-rise concrete and steel, historic renovation/restoration, seismic design, mid-rise cold formed steel, post-tension slabs, deep foundations, pre-cast elements, and conventional wood framing.
Our work environment is open and collaborative, leveraging virtual technology to communicate between offices and disciplines. The D.C. office comprises 50 employees, including roughly 20 structural engineers. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote, although entry-level candidates are expected to work in the office to gain necessary development. Employees are guaranteed 40 hours of work, 3 weeks of vacation, and 8 paid holidays. Mentorship and training in Revit and other disciplines will be provided.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
