UI/UX Designer
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to develop innovative design concepts, storyboards, wireframes, task flows, prototypes, and other UX design deliverables that support native, web, and mobile healthcare products. You will lead collaborative efforts with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify and understand user needs and business requirements, offering your UX expertise across a range of products.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts, storyboards, wireframes, task flows, prototypes, and other UX design deliverables for healthcare products.
- Collaboratively lead designers, developers, and other stakeholders to clarify and understand user needs and business requirements.
- Create low, medium, and high-fidelity designs to support product development.
- Support product teams in performing formative UX research, developing research plans and materials, conducting research activities, analyzing findings, and defining actionable next steps.
- Help establish UX Team best practices and methodologies for design processes and operations.
- Audit, refine, and define UX design system guidelines to ensure consistent design across platforms and projects.
- Support the team in growing their UX maturity, from design and development operations to internal process improvements and design standards.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Figma software.
- Expertise in interaction design and UI/UX for digital consumer-facing products.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in UX design for digital consumer-facing or enterprise products.
- Experience developing product design languages and systems.
- Experience with Android Material Design and/or iOS Human Interface.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working across complex systems or in safety and quality-regulated environments such as healthcare and banking.
- Familiarity with FDA Human Factors Regulatory Process/Requirements.
- Familiarity with FDA Guidance on Human Factors, IEC, and HE75.
- Knowledge of design, medical device regulations, and FDA guidelines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
