Summary: The SolidWorks Designer will be responsible for the design and drawing of air-cooled heat exchangers and other heat transfer components.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform design calculations per ASME code as required.
- Review and apply project specifications and incorporate them into fabrication drawings.
- Serve as technical contact for shop and outsourced fabricators.
- Coordinate with internal departments to gather information needed to complete technical activities (Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales).
- Create and submit customer approval drawings and calculations.
- Work with engineering to complete bundle and structural detail drawings as needed.
What We're Looking For:
- 3D SolidWorks modeling experience required (minimum 3 years).
- Mechanical drafting experience required.
- Familiarity with weld processes and symbols for vessel and structural applications desired.
- Experience with DriveWorks Automation a plus.
