Manager Of Certification Products – Test Development

The manager of certification products – test development will oversee the development and management of certification exams and related product content. This role is responsible for coordinating with committees, vendors, and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for certification committees, vendors, and internal teams throughout the test development process.
  • Oversee the creation, updates, and publication of certification exams and related materials.
  • Analyze psychometric data and proof exam forms to ensure clarity and accuracy before release.
  • Manage meetings and events tied to certification updates, including job task analyses and cut score studies.
  • Maintain accurate and current certification process documentation.
  • Respond to candidate and volunteer inquiries regarding testing and certification.
  • Monitor activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, external standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Support ongoing projects to enhance certification and product offerings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in test development, certification, or member services within an association environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, and online research tools.

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of project management and product development experience.
  • Background in educational testing or assessment.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
