We are the Sportswear Men's Apparel Design team, and we are creating amazing modern and contemporary lifestyle products inspired by sports. If you are joining our team, you would be working closely together with the Design, Marketing and Product development team and get to know the dynamic of the product creation and design process. You would be part of our team for one complete Design season and have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the brand identity of the newly launched adidas Sportswear label.
Within Women's Training, we are committed to helping our female consumer feel her best and achieve her fitness goals during HIIT, Yoga and Strength workouts. We work collaboratively as a cross-functional team with Product Managers, Developers and Pattern Makers to create the best product for our athletes and consumers. We enjoy combining our own personal gym experiences with insights gained from social media and athletes to create the most desirable products for her. In addition to the training apparel team, there is also the Center of Excellence design team who are dedicated to creating product excellence within bras and leggings.
In our CC&P Design team, collaboration is key. Being the pinnacle of the adidas originals brand, generating brand heat and setting trends, we team up with creative partners, ranging from established brands to emerging talents. We believe that diversity in collaboration sparks innovation, and our teams work seamlessly to incorporate partner input into the design process.
The Partnerships team in Sportswear & Training develops innovative collections with influential designers, brands, and cultural icons. While rooted in cultural storytelling and creative sport expression, the team places strong emphasis on performance-driven design - ensuring that every collaborative product upholds adidas' standards in athletic functionality, comfort, and technical innovation.
Support team in day-to-day tasks
Assist and observe the entire design phase from concept creation of final product
Gather relevant trend and consumer information for the product category
Support with creation of seasonal design ideas and concepts
Assist the Design Team in the creation of creative direction presentations, product designs, tech packs and material/innovation research
Complete CAD revisions, color updates and technical packages
Create prototypes and design samples to support seasonal concepts
Participate and support during products' fitting sessions
Communicate with the cross-functional stakeholders such as Marketing and Development
Uploading data into the internal software system
Student of Apparel Design, Sportswear/Performance Design, Fashion Design, Textile Design or similar
Fluent in English (written & spoken)
Fluent in Illustrator and Photoshop programs preferably in a Mac environment
Experience in working with 3D programs is a plus (CLO3D or similar)
Strong storytelling abilities
Good sketching and renderings skills to communicate concepts and ideas
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasks
Previous design experience is a plus

Ability to relocate to Herzogenaurach in Germany for the full duration of the internship
