As the Senior Director of Customer Marketing, you will be the worldwide strategic leader for Creators, owning one of Adobe's priority customer audiences, responsible for driving the customer-first marketing strategy, orchestrating full-funnel plans, and driving growth, engagement, and retention. You will convert company- and business-unit priorities into a clear, data-driven marketing plan for your customer group, partnering deeply with Product Marketing, channel owners, regional teams, and creative teams to deliver high-impact programs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Marketing, you will lead a team and worldwide cross-functional squad, ensure disciplined execution across campaign and evergreen programs. You represent your group in senior forums – advocating for customer needs, business outcomes, and cross-functional alignment.

Translate business priorities and customer insights into a cohesive marketing strategy for your customer group.
Define annual and quarterly marketing objectives that ladder into Adobe's broader customer marketing vision.
Build a deep relationship with our Product teams, acting as a trusted partner in shaping strategy, positioning, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
Lead an integrated, full-funnel marketing plan spanning flagship campaigns, evergreen programs, and always-on content.
Lead activations, co-marketing initiatives, and partner marketing to expand reach and impact.
Convert strategy into actionable briefs and ensure cross-channel and global scalability across creative, web, media, social, events, and regional teams.
Drive alignment with channel partners on priorities, messaging, timing, and resourcing.
Lead the cross-functional customer-group marketing team and squad and ensure strong governance, clear roles, and disciplined execution.
Surface risks, trade-offs, and resourcing needs early and resolve them in partnership with key leaders.
Partner with international teams to align global strategy to local market needs and ensure localization readiness.
Define success metrics, partner with Global Marketing & Insights to monitor performance, and ongoing optimization.
Demonstrate how marketing contributes to business outcomes and customer lifecycle performance.
Play a critical role in Adobe-on-Adobe, ensuring our marketing teams fully leverage Adobe's own products to deliver more effective and efficient programs.
Represent the customer group in senior forums, shaping priorities and advocating for the customer needs.
Act as a public-facing voice through events, customer conversations, and thought leadership opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Agency Management to ensure resources are allocated effectively and deliver strong return on investment.
15+ years of progressive marketing or go-to-market leadership experience, ideally in customer-lifecycle, full-funnel, or coordinated marketing.
5–8+ years leading teams or cross-functional groups with demonstrated success driving accountability and collaboration.
Deep expertise in marketing planning, campaign orchestration, content development, and cross-channel execution.
Strong strategic and analytical skills; ability to connect marketing investments to business objectives and performance.
Proven efficiency in matrixed environments—aligning product, regional, creative, and channel leaders toward shared outcomes.
Outstanding communication and executive-ready presence; able to simplify complexity, influence senior partners, and facilitate decision-making.
Experience applying data, experimentation, and insights to optimize programs and drive continuous improvement.
Excellent judgment, adaptability, and leadership presence during transformation and change.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $177,300 -- $377,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $242,700 - $377,400.
