The Opportunity

Adobe is on a mission to change the world through digital experiences. We're looking for a Staff Product Designer to help shape intuitive, expressive, and approachable creative experiences, rooted in customer needs and crafted with deep design care. Join us!

This role is ideal for a designer who sees the big picture, sweats the details, and cares just as much about how people feel as how they click. You'll help bring cohesion across Firefly's ecosystem—blending product strategy, visual design, and UX systems to create paths that feel effortless, inclusive, and inspiring.

We're looking for someone who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and who leads with curiosity, humility, and purpose. You bring ideas to the table, listen intently, and know how to advocate for users in a room full of competing priorities—with confidence and compassion. And while the terrain can be complex, you have the grit and patience to guide teams through ambiguity toward clarity and progress.

What You'll Do

  • Design connected, welcoming user experiences that help people discover, understand, and trust Firefly's creative tools.
  • Build a strong point of view by listening, observing, and translating insights into action by connecting directly with the creative community.
  • Uphold the highest standards of craft across UX architecture and UI design—ensuring every interaction feels intentional and intuitive.
  • Champion clarity and cohesion across our tools by navigating complexity with emotional intelligence and design leadership.
  • Cultivate alignment across expansive teams and diverse subject areas, supporting individuals in understanding the broader scope while maintaining attention to the particulars.
  • Confidently present your thinking to senior executives, product leads, and engineers—anchored in customer empathy and respectful candor.
  • Create sketches, flows, prototypes, and polished UI—adapting your process to match the problem.
  • Contribute to our evolving design system, voice, and visual language, helping us scale quality and accessibility with consistency and care.
  • Stay strong and adaptable through changing priorities—provide steady leadership and a sense of calm to the work.

What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves:

  • A portfolio that demonstrates exceptional UX and visual design across responsive, multi-surface experiences.
  • Genuine empathy for customers and collaborators—your design process starts by listening and ends by empowering others.
  • A proven ability to lead design within large organizations, managing complexity while building strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience designing for user acquisition, onboarding, or adoption—balancing product goals with moments of delight and clarity.
  • Strong sense of accountability—you follow through, even when the path isn't fully clear.
  • Mastery of modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe CC, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication skills—able to make the complex feel simple and the human feel heard.
  • Dedication to inclusive, accessible, and respectful design practices.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience in creativity tools, GenAI, learning experiences, or content ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with marketing flows, product storytelling, or growth surfaces—with a customer-first, brand-respectful lens.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and portfolio. We'd especially love to see:

  • How your designs have been shaped by connecting with customers
  • How you've navigated complexity within a large organization
  • Where you've delivered thoughtful, high-craft UI experiences
  • How you lead with empathy, partnership, and a calm confidence through ambiguity
