AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architecture Designer to join our Los Angeles Architecture studio. This is a pivotal role to work on one of the most exciting, large and complex local projects: Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Team USA.
The responsibilities of this position include: performing basic architectural/engineering calculations, preparing specifications, reports and related data tables, maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups, preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required, and under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor of Architecture degree plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Architecture, 6 years of experience as an Architect or Architectural Designer on a variety of building types, ability to become a licensed architect in the future, experience with Adobe Suite, Autodesk Revit, Enscape, Rhino and SketchUp, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
