Design Intern

AECOM is seeking an Architecture Intern to work during the summer at its Washington DC/Arlington, VA offices. This position is expected to begin Summer 2026. Responsibilities include:

• Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
• Performs entry level work.
• Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
• Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture.
• Must have completed three years of study in applicable program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the following is a plus: BIM-Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Bluebeam Revu, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Positive outlook and can-do attitude approach to tasks and teamwork.
• Exceptional writing, research, analysis and communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to balance priorities.
• Effective problem solving and analytical skills.
• Efficient and organized worker with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Apt at developing creative and innovative graphics and project layout.
