AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities team is looking for a Security Designer - Integrated Security Systems to join our team in our South Africa offices.

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of integrated security systems and possess exceptional business and people skills as well as managing the various design phases of complex security solutions. The ability to work independently and communicate in a confident, articulate and sensitive manner is essential. The candidate should have a passion for design innovation and quality and be able to effectively balance that with efficiency and creativity in the development of the design solution. In addition to managing the design aspect of the projects, the consultant manages relationships with the project team and plays a critical role in meeting with clients to document their technical and operational requirements which forms the basis of the security design solution.
The security consultant works alongside architects, engineers and interior designers daily, providing unique opportunities for collaboration and personal development not available in many other design firms. The consultant will be required to develop integrated security solutions for a wide cross section of clients utilizing security solutions such as surveillance systems, access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, voice communication systems as well as integrated collaborative systems used in the security and control operation center environment. The security consultant will be required to develop security solutions based on client requirements.
