R&D Scientist - High-speed Analog IC Design (NSTIC), IME

We are looking for a candidate for high-speed analog integrated circuit design. This candidate will contribute to the Electronic Integrated Circuit (EIC) development for Co-packaged optics (CPO). This requires the candidate to work closely with the optics team on the electro/optical co-design as well as system integration and validation.

Job Description

  • Design, development and validation of high-performance and broadband analog integrated circuits for optical transceiver front end.
  • Design, simulation and verification of various analog circuits including voltage regulators, automatic gain control loops, bandgaps, equalizers, ADC, DAC and offset cancellation circuits.
  • Contribute to design of trans-impedance amplifiers, silicon photonic modulator drivers, variable gain amplifiers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative circuit solutions for electro-optical interface.
  • 3D EM Modelling of passives including interconnects, transmission line and on-chip inductors.
  • Work with other functional groups on devising characterization plans and post-silicon validation.
  • Prepare design documentation and partake in design reviews.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum a PhD in Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-years of transistor level analog circuit design experience.
