Product Coordinator

Alaska Gear Company is looking for a Product Coordinator to join our team. As a Product Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the development, production, and delivery of our footwear, apparel, and accessories. You’ll work closely with our product development, design, marketing, and operations teams to keep projects on track from concept to customer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the product development lifecycle, from concept through production.
  • Collaborate with Creative Director to build an integrated line plan establishing style count, pricing, margin targets, and key product stories across categories.
  • Coordinate timelines, samples, and deliverables across internal teams and vendors.
  • Maintain and update product line documentation, spec sheets, and material libraries.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers to track production milestones and resolve issues.
  • Assist in product testing coordination and field feedback collection.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment on seasonal calendars, milestones, and go-to-market plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with product reorders as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management, Merchandising, or related field.
  • Entry-level professional or recent graduate eager to grow in the outdoor gear industry.
  • Passion to learn the product creation process across soft goods, footwear, and accessory categories.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across teams and functions.
  • Familiarity with technical gear and outdoor industry trends.
  • Passion for outdoor life and a deep understanding of the Alaska/outdoor customer.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
