Marketing Communications Coordinator

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing clear communication across multiple functions of the organization to ensure successful execution of marketing programs, key campaigns, and promotions while supporting brand strategy and culture.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide clear and timely communication to operations team around upcoming marketing plans, likely impacts, and expected execution.
  2. Maintain weekly, store specific marketing updates to include information for each communication channel including direct mail, email, digital, social media, broadcast, in-store events, grassroots activations, and shopper marketing events.
  3. Create Playbooks for key campaigns and promotions, and manage communication to operations team. Ensure creation and distribution of Playbooks is done in a timely manner with input of all stakeholders.
  4. Prepare and coordinate internal communication sent to entire enterprise including store communications updates, newsletters, announcements for host promotions such as Extra Helpin's, and the Alex Lee INK magazine.
  5. Manage the daily use of internal communication platforms. Consume information from multiple sources across the organization. Proof, organize, and package information in a single point of daily distribution. Work with enterprise partners to continually improve communication platform use and maximize value.
  6. Manage special projects and coordinate execution for marketing-related programs such as special store events or loyalty/continuity programs. Provide reporting on program results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organization and project management skills. Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage complex processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Graphic design & short video creation and editing experience helpful.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office suite of products and Canva.
