Program Manager III (Corporate Products)

Job Summary

The Program Manager III oversees the execution of technology solutions that support the strategic direction of the Corporate Products business areas. This role ensures that initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business objectives while maintaining compliance with established IT processes, methodologies, and security requirements.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end execution of deliverables, ensuring alignment with timelines, commitments, and quality standards.
  • Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning for delivery teams, including internal staff and third-party vendors.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively address roadblocks to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Enforce and enhance Corporate Product team processes, including LeanKit/Kanban management, Project Online (POL), and related tools.
  • Manage capital delivery budgets, ensuring financial and delivery expectations are met.
  • Ensure compliance with SDLC, SOX, and Information Security processes.
  • Communicate effectively with IT teams, stakeholders, and business leaders, adapting messages to fit the audience and objectives.
  • Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while maintaining focus on strategic goals.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps, system strategies, and solution design in partnership with business stakeholders and IT teams.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom and third-party system solutions.
  • Lead product teams to ensure scope, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved.
  • Ensure integration across enterprise service groups and IT teams, providing oversight of standards, scheduling, and project communication.
  • Maintain accurate project artifacts and documentation in alignment with policies, procedures, and governance standards

What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in program or project management with demonstrated ability to lead teams and deliver complex initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban), Waterfall, and iterative delivery principles.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and collaboration tools (Teams, Skype, Slack).
  • Demonstrated understanding of SDLC, project management methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience with cost/benefit analysis, ROI assessment, and trade-off decision-making.
  • Proven ability to map business requirements to technology solutions and design end-to-end systems.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Expertise in project planning, backlog management, reporting, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present strategies, timelines, and results to executives, peers, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and provide solutions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What we also value (preferred):

  • Project Management certification (PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).
  • Experience managing capital budgets and vendor contracts.
  • Familiarity with corporate product management processes and enterprise-level technology strategies.
  • Advanced skills in reporting and metrics-driven project oversight.
  • Experience working across multiple IT product teams within a large organization.
  • Proven ability to improve and scale processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
