Product Finisher

The Product Finisher is responsible for working as part of a team and assembling, inspecting, and packaging product. The main focus is to help facilitate the timely manufacturing and delivery of Amcor Shield Pack's products, ultimately leading to customer satisfaction, all while maintaining safe work practices and adhere to food safety and GMP guidelines.

Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times

Performs handwork – including cutting, inspecting, sealing, gluing, taping, labeling and spouting

Packages finished goods and prepares them for shipment

Performs quality checks on products and parts

Reviews work orders and drawings to ensure work is performed according to specification

Complete production reports when necessary

Practice good housekeeping – including sweeping, dusting, wiping off tables, etc.

Actively participate in all required trainings including but not limited to safety and technical trainings

Responsible for inspecting all goods produced

Responsible for packaging all goods produced

Responsible for trimming and accuracy of all goods produced

Responsible for data accuracy of all transactions performed

Other duties as assigned to ensure production remains streamlined and as successful as possible

Strong customer focus (both internal & external)

Excellent communication skills

Ability to demonstrate the ability to interact successfully with a wide range of individuals.

Excellent accuracy and consistency in data entry and delivery

Ability to prioritize tasks and maximize job efficiency

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to tolerate potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to read diagrams and follow directions

High school diploma, or equivalent, is preferred

Six months experience in manufacturing environment, is preferred

This position requires an employee to stand, walk, turn, bend, reach, and/or squat for extended periods of time. Regular exposure to a manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels. Potential contact with chemicals and cleaning supplies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds is a requirement. Occasional exposure to excessive noise levels is possible. Employees may be required to wear PPE including but not limited to approved gloves, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection. Additional garb for food safety such as hair nets and/or beard nets is required.
