Manager, Product Planning and Engagement

The Manager, Product Planning and Engagement is part of the Commercial Division. You'll lead a high-impact team responsible for managing cobrand product transitions, launches, and refreshes that directly influence customer experience and loyalty. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.

  • Lead the planning and execution of cobrand product transitions, including the conversion from Barclays to Citi.
  • Manage current and future product launches and refreshes across the cobrand portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, finance, and external partners to ensure alignment and timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and performance metrics to track progress and outcomes.
  • Report to the Director, Planning and Execution and support strategic decision-making across the Cobrand and Partners organization.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, project planning, or strategic partnerships.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience:

  • Experience in airline loyalty programs or cobrand credit card product development.
  • Familiarity with Citi and Barclays partnership structures.
  • Experience managing product transitions or large-scale program conversions.
  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field.

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

  • Strategic problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the airline, currency, and cobrand credit card business to drive innovative, results-oriented solutions.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and build consensus to deliver enterprise-wide outcomes.
  • Strong relationship management skills with experience working with airline, bank, and currency partners.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in commercial analysis and competitive benchmarking to support product development and partner strategy.
  • Adaptable leader who fosters team growth and continuously evolves processes to meet changing market demands.
