Digital Product Lead, Growth

AmeriSave Mortgage is a leading online mortgage lender, dedicated to simplifying the mortgage process and empowering homeowners with fast, transparent, and competitively priced loans. In addition to helping customers achieve the dream of homeownership, we also assist them with refinancing existing mortgages and securing home equity loans. Through our innovative technology and customer-centric focus, we strive to make home financing more accessible and tailored to individual needs.

We are seeking a Digital Product Lead, Growth to drive experimentation, personalization, and conversion optimization across AmeriSave's digital acquisition ecosystem. This role blends strategic insight with hands-on execution — turning customer research, competitive intelligence, and performance data into a prioritized roadmap, then shipping high-quality experiments and personalized experiences across channels.

You will partner closely with channel owners, product, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to align upstream intent (ads/referrals) with on-site experiences, improve funnel performance, and build a repeatable system for learning and iteration.

What You'll Do:

Customer Research & Voice of Customer

  • Own the customer research pipeline, including regular review of customer calls and interactions.
  • Design, launch, and analyze post-abandon and post-interaction surveys.
  • Leverage digital voice-of-customer methods such as intercept surveys, session recordings, heatmap analysis, and on-site feedback tools.
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into customer objections, motivations, and decision drivers.
  • Identify segment-specific pain points that inform experimentation hypotheses and personalization opportunities.
  • Produce clear, actionable insights that translate directly into test concepts and roadmap priorities.

Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis of landing pages, funnels, messaging, creative, and offers.
  • Monitor competitor positioning and market trends to inform experimentation strategy and prioritization.
  • Translate competitive insights into testable hypotheses and personalization strategies.

Experimentation Strategy & Roadmapping

  • Build and maintain a prioritized experimentation roadmap sequenced across channels and initiatives.
  • Produce a weekly insights brief used by channel owners to generate test ideas and opportunities.
  • Define clear success criteria for tests, including primary metrics and guardrails, and ensure consistent documentation of learnings.

Personalization Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute landing page personalization strategies based on traffic source, channel, and audience segment.
  • Ensure on-site experiences align with the intent and messaging of upstream ads or referrals.
  • Build targeting rules using multiple methods to serve tailored content across PPC, affiliate, social, email, SMS, and direct mail traffic.
  • Test personalization hypotheses through A/B testing to validate that tailored experiences outperform generic experiences.
  • Continuously refine personalization strategies using customer insight, performance data, and experimentation results.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with channel owners across Affiliate, PPC, Social, Email, SMS, and Direct Mail.
  • Translate campaign performance, audience insights, and channel expertise into clear, testable concepts.
  • Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and analytics teams to move ideas from concept to launch.

Testing & Execution

  • Define A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalized experiences with clear hypotheses, measurement plans, and launch readiness.
  • Maintain a win/loss log for experiments and personalization tests (hypothesis, segment, results, and key learnings) and use it to improve the program's testing hit rate over time.
  • Work directly with engineering teams in an engineering-driven environment to ship experiments.
  • QA experiments and personalized experiences in Optimizely.
  • Monitor live tests for sample ratio mismatch (SRM), errors, data quality, and instrumentation issues.
  • Partner with analytics and engineering to resolve tracking gaps and maintain measurement integrity.
  • Analyze results, deliver clear readouts, and ensure learnings are documented and incorporated into future testing.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in growth, CRO, experimentation, or product-adjacent roles.
  • Experience working in high-consideration funnels, financial services, fintech, or performance marketing environments is a plus.

Technical Proficiency

  • Optimizely strongly preferred; experience with a comparable experimentation/personalization platform required (Adobe Target, VWO, LaunchDarkly or similar).
  • Google Analytics 4 strongly preferred; experience with a modern digital analytics platform (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, Heap, or similar) required.
  • Experience with heatmap and session-recording tools.
  • Experience with voice-of-customer and intercept survey tools (e.g., Qualaroo, Hotjar, Qualtrics, or similar).
  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.

Analytical & Execution Mindset

  • Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, including A/B testing and personalization.
  • Comfort with segmentation, targeting logic, and measurement concepts (primary metrics, guardrails, data quality).
  • Ability to translate complex data and qualitative feedback into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable owning work end-to-end, from insight generation through execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirement

  • High-speed internet required for remote work, Cable or Fiber ONLY with the ability to connect via Ethernet
  • Minimum speeds: 70/30 Mbps (basic), 200-300/35-70 Mbps (shared), 500-1,000/100+ Mbps (heavy use)

What Success Looks Like:

First 90 Days

  • Build a repeatable customer insight loop using VoC tools and digital feedback signals.
  • Establishes a win/loss tracking system for experiments and personalization tests (hypothesis, segment, results, and learnings) to create a reusable knowledge base.
  • Produces actionable competitive insights that inform test and personalization opportunities.
  • Launches multiple high-quality experiments and can independently drive a test from concept to live.
  • Demonstrates strong measurement hygiene (QA, instrumentation awareness, SRM/data checks).

By 6 Months

  • A sequenced experimentation roadmap is active and used cross-functionally.
  • Weekly insights consistently translate into shipped tests and validated learnings.
  • Personalization strategies are running with measurable lift validated through experimentation.
  • Uses win/loss learnings to improve experimentation hit rate over time and keep the roadmap focused on the highest-probability opportunities.
  • Experimentation operations run smoothly: clean documentation, reliable measurement, steady shipping cadence.
