Marketing Campaign Developer- Business Banking

Client: Big 5 Bank

Location: Hybrid Toronto, Ontario

Terms: 6 Month Contract, Strong possibility of extension based on project budget & candidate performance.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. 37.5 hours per week.

As a Senior Campaign Analyst within the Sales Strategy & Execution team you will be responsible for providing analytical support on targeted marketing campaign initiatives. Your role will include leveraging data to identify meaningful campaign opportunities while developing and creating client lead lists in support of relevant customer acquisition and retention strategies.

We enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How You'll Succeed

Campaign design & execution –

  • In this aspect of the role you will utilize campaign design methods and tools such as IBM's Campaign Management application (previously UNICA).
  • Knowledge and experience working with relational databases, Business Intelligence (BI) User Interfaces and programming languages (like SAS & SQL)

Time Management & relationship building –

  • Building strong relationships with internal and external partners is fundamental to your success.
  • You must demonstrate effective project management skills and the ability to lead small scale direct marketing initiatives within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Your ability to prioritize multiple deliverables, adapt to program changes as they arise and deliver within tight timelines will be critical to your success within this dynamic team.

Analysis & problem solving –

You must have the ability to assimilate and analyze information from a variety of sources, make recommendations and present information in an easy and understandable manner. Experience in leveraging statistical and predictive models and other targeting & segmentation methodologies is also an asset. In addition, an eagerness to continually look for process improvement efficiencies and recommend potential solutions is a beneficial and complementary skill.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in Database Marketing and Campaign Development.
  • Experience leveraging a tool such as IBM Campaign Management (UNICA), or Sales Force Marketing Cloud is required.
  • Hands-on experience working with relational databases and BI User Interfaces.
  • Functional knowledge of programming languages such as SAS and SQL.
  • Skilled at presenting technical or complex information in an easy-to-understand manner for stakeholders.
  • Working experience with campaign development and project management tasks, focusing on data plumbing and deliverables for business banking campaigns.
  • Familiarity with financial services marketing campaign development on Unica and SFMC is considered essential.
  • Experience with business banking is an asset

Apex pay scales are determined by role, experience, skill set, and location. For this new position, the estimated hourly range is provided below as a guideline; however, total compensation may vary based on individual circumstances.
