Senior Data Product Manager
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Senior Data Product Manager to lead the development and lifecycle management of data products within our CFO Organization —including Controllers, Business Planning & Analysis, Enterprise Business Services, Supply Chain, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and Audit Assurance & Advisory. This role will be responsible for aligning data product strategy with enterprise goals, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering high-impact data solutions that enable insight, automation, and operational excellence across enabling business domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on internal and external data challenges and develop data product strategies that solve these needs using product management and data governance discipline with superior user experience.
- Ensure data product strategies incorporate enterprise use cases from multiple organizations to maximize impact and resource utilization via reusable and governed data products.
- Work with business stakeholders, IT, and data governance to develop product capability roadmaps for these strategies aligned with enterprise digital and analytics architectures, data product governance, budget, and prioritized business objectives.
- Collaborate with domain owners, functional leadership, and digital partners to understand needs, prioritize data product features, and maximize business value.
- Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment with requirements and expectations.
- Monitor and report on execution, escalate blockers, and solve problems through the lifecycle via data governance initiatives such as MDM, data quality, or roles and responsibility alignment. Collaborate with IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between application product teams and our data product initiatives.
- Own the full lifecycle of data products and align with enterprise data product governance best practices around the stages, including required artifacts.
- Define and maintain product backlogs, acceptance criteria, and release plans in alignment with agile best practices in our SAFe delivery model.
- Partner with enterprise data governance teams to ensure compliance with data standards, definitions, classifications, and stewardship practices.
- Partner with the data governance team to ensure appropriate access, lineage tracking, and data quality monitoring for products under management.
- Work closely with engineering, BI/reporting, automation, and platform teams to deliver scalable and maintainable data products.
- Coordinate with data stewards, data owners, and compliance teams to ensure policy adherence and data integrity.
- Define and track success metrics (e.g., adoption rates, business impact, user satisfaction) to continuously refine product value.
- Lead retrospectives and post-launch evaluations to drive improvement in product development and delivery processes.
- Ensure voice of the data product end users, as well as data product owners, is heard in the evaluation of proposed data product strategies as well as measuring the success of launched products.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 7+ years in product management, product ownership, business analysis, or data strategy roles
- Experience with CFO data domains and analytics product delivery leveraging enterprise platforms such as SAP and building data products supporting business processes such as:
- Core finance and accounting
- Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Treasury and Cash Management
- Order to Cash
- Procure to Pay
- Demonstrated success managing end-to-end data product lifecycle in a complex, matrixed enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data concepts: data governance, master/reference data, data quality, metadata, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence across multiple levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with self-service analytics, data cataloging (e.g., Microsoft Purview), and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
