Senior User Experience (UX) Designer

The Senior UX Designer will be responsible for crafting engaging, accessible, and intuitive digital experiences for players across various digital channels. This hands-on role involves UX and UI design execution, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI designs. The designer will apply systems thinking to develop scalable, reusable patterns and components within enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to translate user needs and business requirements into high-quality, player-centric experiences.

Terms:

1. 12-month contract
2. Remote with occasional days in office (Vancouver, BC)
3. 40-hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Translate requirements, user insights, and brand guidelines into clear, functional design solutions.
• Produce high-quality UX deliverables such as wireframes, prototypes, UI designs, and component specifications.
• Customize and extend CMS components to support new features while maintaining consistency with the design system.
• Partner closely with developers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs.
• Conduct end-to-end user research, from planning through analysis, and incorporate findings into design work.
• Perform other tasks as reasonably required by the project manager.

Must-haves:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant UX/UI design experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, and prototyping skills.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, specifically Figma.
• Experience designing for mobile, desktop, and app environments.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
• Understanding of human-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
• Existing and ongoing contract with the candidate's company at the time of submission.

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of enterprise CMS platforms (AEM preferred).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
