Product Marketing Manager - Tokyo (Newly Created)

Appier is a technology company which aims to provide artificial intelligence platforms to help enterprises solve their most challenging business problems. Appier was established in 2012 by a passionate team of computer scientists and engineers with expertise in AI, multi-agent, data analysis, distributed systems, and marketing. Appier now has 17 offices across APAC, Europe and U.S., and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Ticker number: 4180).

The product marketing team at Appier is under the Growth and Marketing organization, working closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to drive awareness and adoption.

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of Enterprise Solution's go-to-market strategy in different markets, including Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, and ensuring the continued growth and adoption of our cutting-edge AI-powered solutions. You'll be a key storyteller for Appier, bringing the value of data and personalization to life across all internal and external channels by owning the vertical go-to-market strategy, building competitor playbooks, delivering global training, and being a public figure for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Personalization and Data Cloud products by working closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, sales, and customer success.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the target audience and buyer personas.
  • Craft compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate the company's products in the market and resonate with target audiences.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, case studies, and product demos.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to execute marketing tactics that drive awareness and new client meetings.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with 2-3 years of experience in (product) marketing or a related role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and tell engaging stories.
  • Experience in creating sales enablement materials, such as sales decks and case studies.
  • Agile and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proactive and self-driven with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • An appetite for collaboration, driven by the belief that your success is dependent on the success of others around you.
  • Enjoyment talking to customers and personally going and testing and figuring out positioning that works.
  • Taste for beautiful design, good copy, and attention to detail.

Nice to have:

  • Relevant experience in digital marketing roles.
  • Proficiency in additional languages besides English.
  • Experience in B2B marketing or enterprise software solutions.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of marketing.
