Product Manager, App Publishing and Optimization Tools

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Manager who is passionate about the app ecosystem and Apple Developer community to join the Marketplace Technologies team. This role focuses on building and evolving app publishing and optimization tools that help developers achieve their goals and grow their products, while maintaining Apple's high standards for user experience and platform trust.

Description

As the Product Manager for App Publishing and Optimization Tools, you'll envision new features and products that maximize app developers' ability to reach millions of customers around the world. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver tools that help developers analyze and enhance their apps' presence throughout the App Store—including the product page, search, and editorial featuring—empowering them to successfully build and grow their businesses.

Responsibilities

Envision and deliver the next generation suite of app publishing and optimization tools across surfaces like the App Store and Games app for developers across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Vision Pro. Understand app developers' goals for driving business outcomes and partner with Analytics teams to provide key data and insights for optimizing customer reach. Define product requirements for global markets from conception to launch and monitor adoption to evaluate success and drive enhancements. Balance input from a wide variety of internal partners with potentially competing priorities and timelines. Work with Engineering, Design, Program Managers, and Marketing teams to plan, build, and launch high-quality products.

Minimum Qualifications

7+ years of experience in product management focused on delivering complex products that improved user satisfaction while helping them achieve their business goals. Deep understanding of organic user acquisition and marketing optimization, and how to help developers find customers through marketing tools like product pages and creative assets; marketing experience at a digital platform, app, or media company a plus. Proven ability to lead highly cross-functional teams in successfully launching large-scale global products featuring robust user experiences with high business impact. Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives in highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, fostering trust, handling decisions with ease while navigating ambiguity. Strong analytical abilities to identify key opportunities and measure impact. BA/BS or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to define and drive a product vision to drive adoption and engagement with the target audience. Ability to operate seamlessly between highly detailed and technical situations and strategic business situations. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to put data into context for non-technical audiences. Excellent attention to detail and ability to see the big picture. Ability to thrive in highly collaborative projects, and navigate ambiguity. Experience developing platforms and tools for global, two-sided marketplaces. Fluency with Keynote and strong executive presentation skills.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $258,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
