Product Manager, Intelligent System Experiences

Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define product roadmap and strategy key input experiences, such as Multi-Touch controls, keyboards, Apple Pencil, and more
- Understand your product technologies several layers deep and be able to clearly communicate them with knowledgeable insight
- Influence critical product trade-offs that impact schedule, usability, differentiation, etc
- Deeply understand user feedback, competitive trends, emerging regulatory requirements, and the overall product space to inform a well-developed perspective on system input experiences
- Position Apple's suite of input experiences in the competitive landscape and craft compelling key product messaging to encourage customer adoption to drive business growth
- Work with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch and momentum activities, press releases, marketing materials, and press briefings including product demos
- Serve as an ambassador for Apple through press briefings and customer visits to drive advocacy for your product
Minimum qualifications include:
- 4+ years experience in product marketing and/or product management roles, including at least one entire product development cycle from concept to launch
- Hands-on experience formulating product messaging and creating outbound marketing for both technical and consumer audiences, and/or partnering with engineering during early research and development to define product strategy and roadmap, and with marketing and public relations to craft positioning, and define marketing activities
- Recent experience within the last 3 years in one or more of the following software segments: system input experience, app development requiring unique or custom input solutions (e.g. productivity, creativity, communication, gaming, or lifestyle apps), or adjacent
- Ability to drive communication with key stakeholders, the media, and public, as demonstrated by exceptional presentation skills: developing keynote addresses in an area of deep subject matter expertise, synthesizing information, applying critical thinking and maintaining composure under pressure
