Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. Take ownership of specific user journey and commercial features development, including with external partners (e.g., Tmall, Douyin). Lead initiatives to improve the online shopping experience, collaborating with Design, Engineering, and other Product Managers to define requirements and assess project impact. Stitch together cross functional teams, mobilize to collect requirement, develop, test and support rollout. Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects, monitoring health, identifying risks, and partnering with testing and publishing teams for successful launches. Utilize data and customer research from Analytics and Insights teams to inform product decisions and ensure cross-functional alignment on requirements with all impacted stakeholders.
Currently pursuing a full time MBA or master's degree in supply chain, engineering, operations management, or a related field. Able to work in Shanghai and commit at least 3-4 months to this internship. At the end of the internship, you must return to school to continue your education or the internship must be the last requirement for you to graduate. Ability to work through ambiguity and prioritize. Demonstrated ability to work with partners to clarify business problems, identify process/user experience improvement opportunities, and represent business interests during the design and development of technology solutions. Bilingual (English + Mandarin) proficiency to support effective collaboration with China-based teams and platform partners.
Have insights into modern interactive design and development standards; recognize and appreciate the differences between web-based and native app experiences. Direct experience working with or on Tmall and/or Douyin (or similar China platforms like Taobao, JD.com); strong understanding of China's social commerce landscape, livestreaming, influencer/KOL integrations, payment ecosystems, and regulatory considerations. Strong technical background, ability to dive into technical details. 5+ years of digital or e-commerce product management experience. Possess strong decision making, analytical, and prioritization skills; have experience overseeing and managing complex project schedules. Knowledge of Apple products and industry.
