Senior Product Manager, Business Commerce

Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish. Join the Commerce team and help take our commerce, payments, and business platform to new heights. Your mission will be to create amazing experiences for developers and institutional customers (SMB, Enterprise, and Education) who are purchasing or providing digital goods and services. This area will be a major strategic focus and engine of growth for Apple. Our commerce platform supports billions of transactions in more than 170 countries. As we expand our footprint in the business and education sectors, your contributions will ensure that Apple's commerce capabilities are as powerful and seamless for a school district or a global corporation as they are for an individual consumer.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the roadmap by evaluating competing needs across SMB, Enterprise, and Education.
  • Use data-driven valuations and strategic impact assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Craft clear, comprehensive product-requirements documents (PRDs) that empower both commerce and LOB partner engineering teams with the clarity to go do their best work.
  • Take accountability to identify, understand and resolve open questions during the development lifecycle.
  • Debate technical approaches to ensure we are building for long-term scalability rather than short-term fixes.
  • Solicit, understand and act upon feedback from LOB stakeholders to anticipate future needs and identify gaps in our current commerce capabilities.
  • Deliver features that can scale and re-deploy broadly across our Services business.
  • Ensure that commerce features built for one segment (e.g., Enterprise) are designed as reusable capabilities that can benefit the broader Apple ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, specifically within Commerce, Fintech, or B2B/Enterprise platforms.
  • Proven track record of writing high-quality, detailed technical requirements for engineering teams.
  • Exceptional ability to drive prioritization across diverse stakeholders with conflicting priorities.
  • Strong financial and strategic intuition; experience building business cases or valuations for new features.
  • Experience working with large-scale, high-availability systems where scalability is a first-class requirement.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to "translate" complex technical constraints into business impact for leadership.
  • A "learn-and-grow" mentality with a passion for solving the unique challenges of the Education and Enterprise sectors.
  • Bachelor's (Master's a plus) or equivalent experience in one or more of the following: Computer Science, Business/Strategy, Finance, Design/HF Engineering

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Apple's ecosystem (App Store, iCloud, etc.) or similar large-scale digital marketplaces.
  • Background in SaaS, subscription management or volume purchasing systems.
  • Familiarity with institutional procurement, B2B billing models, or federated account management systems.
  • Other training/experience advantageous to the role: Design Thinking, Storytelling, Collaboration, Art, Design and Humanities
