We're looking for a user experience designer to join our team in IS&T, who are responsible for tools and services used throughout Apple, worldwide. We partner with many different teams within Apple - from software engineering to product marketing to finance to logistics, and deliver highly scalable solutions to our employees that enable teams to collaborate and deliver Apple's world class products and services.
We are looking for somebody who is passionate about technology and its implementation in large scale enterprise environments. If you thrive on designing solutions to interesting and challenging problems then we'd love to talk to you! As a user experience designer on the team, you will help design and implement new features and enhancements to internal Apple tools. You'll work with designers, engineers and product managers to create feature requirements, user flows and high fidelity designs, and then work directly with the engineering team to get those features integrated in to the product. Our agile approach allows us to ship features and solutions quickly, iterate on them to improve them and help our user community. Your team will be spread across multiple locations in different countries, including the US, Ireland, the UK and India, and we work closely with partners in other design teams, our Accessibility centre of excellence, and QA and DevOps teams. We have a rich backlog of ideas—but we always welcome fresh perspectives This is a six-month internship starting in early 2026.
Knowledge of Apple platforms (macOS and iPadOS/iOS in particular) Knowledge of UX design methods and best practices To be able to empathise and advocate for our users. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with UI design software such as Sketch (preferable) Some knowledge of web technologies i.e HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Helpful, but not essential) Currently enrolled in a degree-granting program pursuing a Bachelors Honours or Masters degree program. Returning to university after internship with enhanced skills and professional experience.
