Hardware Design Integrity Section Leader

This position is in Tucson, Arizona.

What You Will Do:

• Lead a team of approximately 15 – 20 engineering technical support professionals who perform documentation practices checks, ensuring compliance to internal and external documentation standards
• Work in collaboration with program & functional stakeholders to prioritize and execute check task backlog
• Drive continuous process improvement and standardization, participating in strategic planning, workforce planning, staffing and hiring, goal setting, performance development, and learning
• Drive a culture of operational excellence, balancing quality, cost and schedule in support of program & customer deliverables and critical metrics
• Support the release and change of command media
• Support the development of bid and proposal Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for Design Integrity scope of work
• Present data visually to leadership to convey priorities and needs to support program execution

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of military hardware design & documentation experience
• Experience with applicable standards (e.g. EDS, Program PDS, MIL-STD-31000, ASME Y14.100)
• Leadership experience leading and empowering teams, projects or initiatives
• Experience with common PDM/Windchill and Microsoft Office tool suites
