Hardware Design Integrity Section Leader
This position is in Tucson, Arizona.
What You Will Do:
Lead a team of approximately 15 – 20 engineering technical support professionals who perform documentation practices checks, ensuring compliance to internal and external documentation standards
Work in collaboration with program & functional stakeholders to prioritize and execute check task backlog
Drive continuous process improvement and standardization, participating in strategic planning, workforce planning, staffing and hiring, goal setting, performance development, and learning
Drive a culture of operational excellence, balancing quality, cost and schedule in support of program & customer deliverables and critical metrics
Support the release and change of command media
Support the development of bid and proposal Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for Design Integrity scope of work
Present data visually to leadership to convey priorities and needs to support program execution
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) discipline
Minimum of 8 years of military hardware design & documentation experience
Experience with applicable standards (e.g. EDS, Program PDS, MIL-STD-31000, ASME Y14.100)
Leadership experience leading and empowering teams, projects or initiatives
Experience with common PDM/Windchill and Microsoft Office tool suites
