What you'll do…

  • The SFMC Deployment Manager will engage with Marketing stakeholders to gather/analyze requirements and map them to solutions that leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality
  • Through close partnership with the Journey Orchestration team within Edward Jones, guide the setup of targeted client and prospect journeys across multiple channels leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Design complicated, multi-touch customer journeys leveraging marketing analytics from the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Financial Services Cloud.
  • Assist Campaign Developer in building campaigns using HTML and AMPscript or through the editor.
  • Ensure campaign design and templates are optimized, user and device-friendly.
  • Configure and schedule proof deployments and live sends for campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign sending and validates completion.
  • Create, edit and manage subscriber data, import, queries and segmentation.
  • Work alongside data analytics to internalize and build efficiencies in daily execution specs and audience count operations.
  • Use data to discover and optimize audience selection and to test campaigns to ensure they deliver against targets
  • Support the enterprise-wide implementation of Marketing Cloud
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Marketing Cloud, Interaction Studio, and Salesforce CDP. Provide guidance on integration opportunities between Salesforce and other third-party applications.
  • Work closely with our public websites team to ensure consistent, tailored experiences regardless of channel
  • Own maintenance (editing, updating, QA) of code snippets and campaign template systems.
  • Proactively suggest process and system improvements to drive more value from the Marketing Cloud solution
  • Measure, analyze, and share campaign performance, test results, and other learnings to inform decision-making across the team
  • Liaison and work closely with Campaign Developer and any partners on special projects, including transactional and triggered journeys, as well as other third-party integrations utilizing APIs.

Hiring Minimum: $99200

Hiring Maximum: $168900

Bachelor's degree with a concentration in communication, marketing, journalism, web development or information management preferred or related/equivalent work experience.

7+ years of experience in communication, financial services marketing, journalism, social media strategy, web or intranet development, user centered design, direct marketing and/or project management or comparable experience.

1+ years experience with HTML and AMPscript

2+ years hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Experience developing, executing, and managing strategic email marketing initiatives.

Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and CCPA

Ability to setup data extensions, filters and data refreshes to create sendable audiences

Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on SFMC and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes

Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Developer certifications.

Datorama experience a plus

Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.

Current INTERNAL home-based associates: While this role is posted as hybrid, if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status. Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
