Marketing Administrative Assistant
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the marketing department in daily administrative tasks
- Create and edit photo, video and graphic content for social media using Adobe Suite, native platforms, and other software for commercial and community performances.
- Monitor and report on analytics for social media accounts, website, and email.
- Conduct research on market, industry lists, competitors, and new opportunities.
- Assisting on projects and creating presentations via Canva, PowerPoint
- Promote the venue marketing representative at community and on campus events.
- Interact with patrons before performances as extension of the marketing department.
- Assisting with Community Arts Partnership marketing, branding and administrative needs
- Assist with preparing and publishing digital screens for shows
- Assist in the creation of weekly emails for patron communication
- Assist Group Sale department with presales, database management and information.
- All other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
- Degree or relevant experience in marketing, hospitality or social media preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Abilities
- Customer orientated background with a focus on identify and resolving issues.
- Comfortable speaking to customers in person, by phone or via email correspondence in a professional manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, Adobe Products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Social Media platforms and email marketing.
- Understanding of basics of digital design (preferred but not required).
- Detail-orientated and can efficiently multi-task.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
Location: On Site (Capital One Hall, Tysons, VA)
