Responsibilities

• Conduct an audit of current sales and marketing operations in collaboration with the owner.
• Oversee and manage a small team of inside salespeople.
• Utilize existing customer data to assign accounts and territories effectively.
• Develop business by leveraging prior relationships and experience in the life sciences industry.
• Manage and optimize existing marketing infrastructure, including social media, website management, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with third-party marketing companies to improve SEO, website updates, and more.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI to boost sales and exposure.
• Gain proficiency with e-procurement platforms like Quartzy for integrating product catalogs with customer systems.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years in sales, business development, and digital marketing.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience in team leadership and management with a minimum of 5 direct reports.
• Client relationship management.
• Negotiation and closing skills.
• Sales pipeline and forecasting expertise.
• Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho.
• Market research and new opportunity identification.

Qualifications

• SEO/SEM expertise.
• Social media strategy and management.
• Experience with paid ads on platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.
• Analytics and reporting proficiency using tools such as Google Analytics.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
