At Automox, you'll do your best work, grow your career, and see the direct impact of your contributions. WE ARE A_TOMOX… all that's missing is U!

What You'll Be Doing

  • Make sure the design system library in figma is easily usable for our product designers
  • Develop clear, comprehensive documentation and resources for design teams to use and scale the system effectively
  • Collaborate with product designers and frontend engineers to enhance and create new components in the design system
  • Contribute to product design work on high-priority features or initiatives
  • Serve as the go-to expert and advocate for design system best practices across the organization
  • Establish and uphold accessibility and usability standards across components and design patterns
  • Facilitate design critiques and feedback sessions related to design system usage

Background & Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong emphasis on design systems
  • Deep expertise in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and libraries
  • Experience building, scaling, and maintaining multiple design systems across cross-functional teams and creating design systems from scratch
  • Strong visual design and interaction design skills, with attention to detail and polish
  • Ability to create thoughtful documentation and articulate rationale behind design decisions
  • Proven collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure consistency and clarity
  • Ability to test components with users to ensure strong UX
  • Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently
  • Comfortability taking on a few feature projects as a product designer
