Marketing Specialist
The Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the planning and execution of Marketing strategies for Used Vehicle Retail, Used Vehicle Acquisition, and Used Vehicle Wholesale areas of the business. This role skews heavily towards execution, ensuring that Marketing plans and initiatives are implemented with precision, deadlines are met, and that field teams receive consistent support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where operational excellence drives business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign & Plan Execution
- Assist in the production and rollout of the Monthly Operating Plan (MOP).
- Coordinate the development and execution of promotional campaigns, including campaign set-up, creative trafficking, and reporting.
- Support post-campaign analysis, gathering insights to refine and improve future efforts.
- Maintain up-to-date marketing calendars and ensure alignment across Retail, WBYC, and Auction business lines.
- Field & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for inbound field marketing requests.
- Collaborate with Field Marketing teams to ensure timely response and delivery of marketing assets.
- Support acquisition, add-point, and divestiture activities with appropriate marketing operations.
- Testing, Analysis & Optimization
- Partner with the strategy team on offer testing and pilot programs, helping coordinate execution and track results.
- Compile data and performance metrics to provide actionable insights.
- Assist in maintaining reporting dashboards to monitor performance against business goals.
- Change Management & Process Improvement
- Participate in weekly huddles, cross-functional meetings, and team discussions.
- Support the implementation of new tools, systems, and processes designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to streamline marketing workflows.
- Special Projects
- Take ownership of ad hoc projects assigned by leadership.
- Assist with presentations, executive reporting, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years of Marketing or Advertising, ideally in automotive, retail, or another fast-paced consumer-facing industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Team Player: Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing stakeholder needs.
- Critical Thinker: Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Structured & Organized: Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Light travel (up to several days per year) Standard office environment
