Digital Product Coordinator

The Digital Product Coordinator assists in building and maintaining online product pages within the digital production team, with focus on content accuracy and page functionality. This position will have an above average understanding of corporate style guides and brand standards to ensure all content published to the e-commerce website adheres to current presentation standards.

This is an onsite position, located at our main office in Springfield, Missouri.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares, proofs, and assembles digital content using a mix of enterprise-level software solutions to create a unique and positive customer experience for e-commerce website. Moderately complex work with e-commerce platform, content management system (CMS), and digital asset management system (DAM) to bring those experiences to the website.
  • Ensures product content is search-engine optimized according to SEO best practices prior to publishing content to the e-commerce website.
  • Ensures all content adheres to brand standards and corporate style guides through an intimate familiarity with all documentation for brand style guides and presentation standards.
  • Enforces product data integrity and consistency by reviewing all product attributes.
  • Works with merchandising team to resolve attribute issues before publishing pages.
  • Assists in maintaining Attribute Dictionary and Attribute Dictionary backups.
  • Reviews change requests for live page updates and take appropriate steps to make needed changes.
  • Participates in special projects as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience/Qualifications

  • Minimum degree required: Associate's degree in English, technical writing, journalism, or another writing-oriented field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with others, internally and externally, fostering a sense of partnership and exhibit the ability to find resolutions that work for all sides.
  • Must exhibit the ability to easily adapt to changes in processes, higher workload volumes and imminent deadlines while always observing corporate standards and guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, self-motivate and organize work effectively.
  • Strong online research skills to research new products and to identify/resolve issues with existing/new products.
  • Must have an attention for detail and be well organized.

  • Regularly performs computer work and sits.
  • Occasionally walks and stands.
  • Seldom/never lifts up to 50lbs.

Independent Judgement

  • Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
