The Associate Designer supports the creation of commercially viable, brand-right packaging designs across the Body Care, Fragrance, and Beauty categories. This role is ideal for someone with strong packaging fundamentals, exceptional typography skills, and a passion for storytelling through design. The position works under close supervision while contributing creatively and collaboratively to projects.

Responsibilities:

Specifically, this position will:

• Assist in developing multiple creative design solutions aligned with project strategies
• Research and identify key trends in beauty, fragrance, body care, colors, materials, and finishes
• Partner with Merchant and Packaging Engineering teams to ensure design alignment throughout product development
• Support the design of primary and secondary packaging across categories
• Participate in innovation and ideation sessions, contributing to future-forward concepts
• Create and complete technical specs and hand off finalized specifications to the Packaging team

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in personal care, CPG, packaging, or beauty
• Strong design and color sensibility, with a solid understanding of 3D packaging
• High level of creativity, conceptual thinking, execution, and organization
• Exceptional typography and brand design skills
• Strong understanding of branding systems and the ability to maintain consistency while innovating
• Strong attention to detail and production accuracy
• Awareness of customer-specific product needs
• Ability to identify and articulate trends ahead of the beauty and CPG market
• Ability to create technical and print specifications
• Knowledge of print processes, materials, finishes, and structural packaging
• Curious, collaborative, and innovative-minded
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Familiarity with emerging AI-powered creative tools and design technologies. Ability to leverage AI platforms for ideation, concept exploration, visualization, and workflow efficiency while maintaining strong design judgment and brand integrity

Education:

• Bachelor's or equivalent education or experience preferred
