BD Interventional (BDI) focus on leading innovation and life-enhancing devices in the field of surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care interventions aiming at advancing the treatment of high burden diseases and enabling surgical and interventional procedures.

About the Role

The Sr. International Marketing Manager - Drainage Franchise is responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy across regions to accelerate growth within the Drainage Platform. This role is responsible for aligning regional marketing initiatives with platform objectives, overseeing market analysis, and developing differentiated strategies to enhance brand presence and competitive positioning. The International Drainage Lead partners cross-functionally with regional teams and commercial operations, to ensure operational readiness and sustained execution.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the regions to develop strategic growth plans, focusing on market development, expansion and competitive differentiation aligned with platform strategy.
  • Partner with regional teams to analyze market data and identify emerging trends. Assess the global competitive landscape and leverage customer insights to drive strategic differentiation
  • Lead global market modeling to identify and monitor key growth opportunities and inform capacity planning.
  • Partner with Commercial Operations to ensure adequate supply and sustained project execution.
  • Collaborate internally across functions including Marketing, R&D, Medical and Regions and externally by going to conferences, studying trends, understanding guidelines and studies, working with KOL's etc. to identify customer focused insights and opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison to regional teams, ensuring marketing plans support global strategy and revenue targets.
  • Lead development of global education tools, communication programs, training, and budget impact models.
  • Partner with innovation team to identify and drive key innovation projects to drive growth and expansion globally, including organic and potential acquisition or investment opportunities.
  • Lead portfolio reviews with regional teams to ensure alignment and performance optimization. Identify portfolio gaps within regions, focusing on underperforming products and potential areas for improvement.
  • Implement comprehensive portfolio strategies to optimize product mix and increase profitability.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a technical field
  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing, product management, or in an international business role.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
  • Action oriented with demonstrated ability to get results.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills related to interfacing and establishing relationships with customers and key influencers to ensure that marketing decisions are customer-driven.
  • Thorough understanding of global laws and regulations related to the approvals, sales and marketing regulation
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 35%
